My husband and I were excited to learn of another baby on the way, so soon after our last miscarriage (June 1). We see every child gifted to us as a blessing from Him, and we feel great joy when we know another one is on the way. Not long, though, after learning this news, I lost the baby. Monday and Tuesday I was bed ridden, in much pain and greatly struggling physically. Today I was able to get up and around again, but the pain in my heart was great. I laid down in a dark room, for the darkness reflected the way my soul was feeling, and I sobbed for a very long time.
I was able to get out with my family this evening and set it aside for a time. I prayed the Lord would help me get through the evening without being completely transparent and to keep the tears from flowing. He answered. In fact, I had a lovely evening amongst dear friends and family. Distractions are nice, but now things are quiet again and I must face it all....all over again. It is such a lonely grief...one, I suppose, that will draw me even nearer to the One who understands it more than even I do. I cling to Him. He will help me through this.

As a mom to 7 plus 5 in heaven with Jesus, I empathize with you. I pray that Jesus will hold you in His arms, as He is doing with your baby! I pray that He will comfort you and hold you near.
Blessings and Hugs!
